GC got up nice and early to catch the train to Geneva and have a team brunch together. Fuelled on eggs and avocado we hit the ground running.
In the 1st quarter we were confident, in control and a goal was in the air, which got awarded in the 2nd quarter when Luisina gave a sharp pass in the D and Celina scored with a strong hit on goal. But the 1-0 advantage was far from reassuring, as BBHC kept on interfering the rhythm of our game and a scary moment came when ex-GC player Vicky had a 1 on 1 chance against Tanja which got saved with strong work from our defense. In the minutes that passed, BBHC capitalized on a rebound and a penalty corner, scoring two goals, leading to our 2-1 loss.
On a positive note, on the train ride home the sun was shining on the snowy Jura, giving us a glimpse of hope for the matches to come.
