Servette Hockey Club 2 - Grasshopper Club Zürich --- 3 - 1
Early on Sunday morning, the NLB ladies met at Zurich train station at 6:50 am for our last match of the season. Pat joined us too with his good mood ready to prep the team with a team talk that entertained the train compartment.
The sun was shining when we arrived in Geneva, which definitely helped wake us up and lift the mood. After a quick warm-up, we were ready to take on Servette.
The game started off evenly, and we managed to create several good chances, especially through short corners. Still, Servette took the lead, and despite our efforts, we went into halftime 2:0 behind.
In the second half, we kept fighting and were happy to finally get a well-deserved goal after some solid team play. The final score ended 3:1 for Servette, but overall it was an eventful and intense game.
All in all, even though a win would have been nice, it was a great day and a good end to the season. Big thanks to Pat for his support and positive energy throughout!
