HC Olten 2 - Grasshopper Club Zürich --- 2:4
The first indoor match of the season: GC against HC Olten.
Viola scored in the first 2 mins, with a high shot from the edge of the circle. After that Olten gained back to 1:1 with a short corner in the first quarter. GC was pushing forward, eager to score and having lots of chances. After a lot of successful short corners, GC took the win home with a final score of 4:2. In total Viola scored twice, Luise and Tessa both once.
Red Sox Zürich - Grasshopper Club Zürich --- 4:0
After a two hours break, GC started freshly into the second game of the day against Red Sox Zurich.
Our main goal was to defend well and keep the Zero on our side of the score. This worked out pretty well with a final score of 4:0! GC managed to score strong field goals made by Juliana, Alba, Viola and Isabel. We showed great improvement compared to the first game and were able to implement the tactics from our coach, Lucho. We went home after a good game day with two wins.
