On this rainy Sunday, the ladies team of GC faced the Black Girls of Geneva.
The match started strong with constant pressure from BBHC on our defence. We were struggling to build our attack and conceded several short corners. On a game action from BBHC, we conceded a goal in the first quarter.
In the second and third quarters, the game was more balanced between the two teams. BBHC kept putting a lot of pressure but we managed to bring the ball several times into the opposite circle. Unfortunately without a conclusion of a goal for our attackers. We also conceded several short corners, without BBHC managing to score.
The fourth quarter was in the same vein as the previous two, but both teams were more tense, making more mistakes. Black Boys pressed high but the defense of GC held on. Larissa had the opportunity of the match for GC by touching the crossbar. The equalizer was not far away!
The match ended on a series of inconclusive short corners for BBHC. The referees whistled the end of the game. 0:-1 victory for BBHC.
