Last Sunday was the game day between GC and Basel. The weather was nice and the attitude of the team was great. We were ready to show Basel and our fans all the hard training we have been doing. We started with the right foot with great play by the team and a great goal by Anne Sofie, some might call this a stolen goal. The team kept playing with a lot of energy making a bunch of great actions that unfortunately didn’t turn in a goal. Basel managed to break our defense and score a goal, increasing the pressure in our team to convert another goal. Unfortunately, Basel scored a second goal and we couldn’t equal them. The match finished with the score of 2:1 for Basel. We look forward to train hard and show Basel what we are capable of next time. Hopp GC!
